Points
Qualifying This year ANZCRL have introduced a 2 part qualifying system. Qualifying on Saturday will be set for a duration of 25 minutes. The 1st 12 minutes all drivers are allowed on track to set a time, drivers crossing the line before 13 minutes remaining, can still complete the lap. All other cars must stay in pit lane. The top 10 drivers will progress to the next session and leave the pits with 10 minutes remaining.
Qualifying on the Sunday will be a reduced time of only 15 minutes. The 1st 8 minutes all drivers are allowed on track to set a time, drivers crossing the line before 7 minutes remaining, can still complete the lap. All other cars must stay in pit lane. The top 10 drivers will progress to the next session and leave the pits with 5 minutes remaining.
Full Course Yellow The full course yellow feature of the game will be in use. If a driver has sustained damage that stops them from returning to the pits on their own accord, we ask them to hold stationary for 20 seconds to see if the in-game full course yellow is activated before pressing the return to pits button. On the restart after a full course yellow, drivers must not pass until they cross the starting line, over lapping is allowed. It is preferred that all drivers stay in the lobby until the race is over as it enables better collection of race results.
Penalties If a driver is seen to be racing in an unsportsmanlike manner a time penalty may be applied to the end of race time at the discretion of ANZCRL admin.
Video evidence must be supplied with the request for incident review by the driver, it is not the responsibility of admin to obtain this by saving the replay after the race when the result screen appears.
ANZCRL encourages fair, competitive racing and if you think you have done the wrong thing to a fellow competitor, a redress of the position within the lap is expected. We pride ourselves on racing clean and following proper racing etiquette regarding giving space and overtaking cleanly. Excessive blocking will not be tolerated. If you make a mistake, please try to redress on circuit. Do not complain about race incidents during the event and concentrate moving on.
Please use all available game HUD displays like the map, relative timing and your look back button when rejoining the track to make it as safe as possible. You may just need to wait until cars go by before rejoining safely.
NOTE: The use of the reset car to track button is forbidden at any time unless your car ends up on its roof or stuck in a ditch or something similar stopping your car from moving. If it is found that a driver has used the reset car to track a 30 second end of race time penalty will be issued per offence.
LIVE OR DELAYED COVERAGE OF EACH ROUND WILL BE ON OUR ANZCRL TWITCH CHANNEL AND THEN UPLOADED TO OUR ANZCRL YOUTUBE CHANNEL. Please select your car and livery including drivers AMS2 profile name by clicking on the button below. Strictly no duplicates of car liveries.
