Qualifying Slowest to fastest from the 2 official practice sessions. If drivers don't make the practice session they will go out 1st alphabetically order from their GamerTag. 3 drivers will then go out at the same time depending on lobby size and complete 4 laps only (3 flying laps) with the fastest lap being their qualifying time and must come back to the pits and not go out again during qualifying. It is important that on the 1st out lap that the drivers space themselves out to not get in the way of each other as we would like to see unassisted draft times.
5 x 4 minute runs, so the 1st nominated drivers need to leave the pits once qualifying starts at 20:00 minutes; 2nd nominated drivers at 16:00 minutes; 3rd nominated drivers at 12:00 minutes; 4th nominated drivers at 8:00 minutes and finally 5th nominated drivers at 4:00 minutes remaining.
Virtual Safety Car Virtual safety car will be in operation and notified within party chat when a car is involved in an accident with another car/s. Drivers involved in the incident must be the ones that call for a virtual safety car by announcing "safety car, safety car. NO VSC IF ONLY 1 CAR IS INVOLVED IN AN OWN SPIN, IF A DRIVER SPINS OUT AND COMES TO A STOP OR NEAR TO A STOP DUE TO AVOIDING ANOTHER CAR WHICH AVOIDS CAUSING AN INCIDENT, THEY MAY CALL A VIRTUAL SAFETY CAR. Then we ask everyone that hears that the safety car has been called to acknowledge by repeating that safety car has been called this will also alert others if they missed the original call for the safety car.
When the virtual safety car is called, lead driver and all others not involved in the accident can continue racing until reaching the starting line if safe to do so where the leader will then required to maintain a speed of 150kph. All other drivers will then line up single file behind the leader and maintain the 150kph until it's announced that the safety car is in this lap which then means the leader now has control of the race restart. Only when all cars that were involved in an accident have rejoined the queue (cars that pitted for fuel and tires during the VSC and are not back of the queue when the race restarts must be mindful if approaching back of the queue just after race restart as they will be travelling a lot faster than the cars in front of them) can the leader announce 3-2-1 and increases from the 150kph anywhere from turn 4 to the starting line with the race restarting and overtaking can recommence, passing is allowed before crossing the starting line. It is strongly suggested to get back into a groove before passing after restarts and wait until a few laps to settle the field and have tyres back in operation pressure and temperature.
Pitting during a virtual safety car period is allowed. If the leaders decide to pit before passing the starting line and slowing to 150kph, the next car that passes the start line on the lead lap while leaders are in the pits must slow to 150kph and are now the leader that controls the restart of the race after virtual safety car period. If your not effectively the leader of the race at the front of the que after passing the leaders in the pits, you may accelerate away from the virtual safety car to make a lap back NOTE: this only applies to the car in the front of the que. If your a lap down but behind a car on the lead lap in the que, you are not allowed to be waved through unless they pit and you become the lead car in the que.
NOTE: ALL DRIVERS REQUIRE TO BE IN PARTY CHAT TO RECEIVE VIRTUAL SAFTEY CAR NOTIFICATIONS. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CAN NOT BE IN PARTY CHAT PLEASE BE MINDFUL IF YOU COME UP TO A SLOWING PACK AND ABIDE BY SLOWING DOWN AND FORMING UP BEHIND THE CAR IN FRONT.
Race Spotter and Proximity Arrows All drivers are to have spotter and proximity indicator enabled in gameplay/onscreen guides & display options (must be selected as always not authentic).
It is also strongly suggested to have the reset car to track mapped to one of your buttons and ONLY to be used if you end up stuck or on your roof. Any driver seen using the reset to track during a spin or a mistake there will be a 30 second end of race time penalty applied.
